Police to Host Small Business Crime Prevention Meeting

EDGEWATER — Police are inviting small business owners to attend a presentation Thursday about how to prevent crime at businesses.

Ald. Harry Osterman (48th), the Edgewater Chamber of Commerce and the Edgewater Development Corporation are sponsoring the event.

CAPS assistant director William Townsell will give the presentation, according to organizers.

The event will take place from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Nookies, 1100 W. Bryn Mawr Ave.
