CHICAGO — Police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man in Belmont Cragin Sunday afternoon.

The 44-year-old man was standing in the 2800 block of North Lotus Avenue about 2:20 p.m. when a vehicle pulled up. Someone got out of the vehicle, shot the man in the head and then got back in the vehicle and drove off, police said.

The man was pronounced dead on the scene, police said.

Luis Zuniga, who lived on the block where he was shot, was pronounced dead at 7:10 p.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.
