Things You Can Do in Lincoln Park and Old Town This Weekend

Friday

Glen Campbell "I'll Be Me" at Park West, 322 W. Armitage Ave., 6 p.m.

Easter Seals and award-winning producer James Keach bring you the Chicago premiere of "Glen Campbell ... I'll Be Me," a film paying homage to the power of music and family. Tickets are available for a suggested donation of $35 and the show is for people of all ages.

Chris Malinchak at Lincoln Hall, 2424 N. Lincoln Ave., 10 p.m.

The DJ and producer best known for "So Good to Me" will perform with Hey Champs at Lincoln Hall Friday night. Tickets to the 18-and-over show are $22 at the door or $18 in advance.

Eddie Brill at Zanies, 1548 N. Wells St., 8:30 and 10:30 p.m.

Eddie Brill has been a well-respected stand-up comedian for years, starting as a regular in England in 1989. Since then he's performed in Australia, Ireland, Scotland, Canada, Hong Kong and Holland. Brill is also a warm-up act and regular guest on "The Late Show with David Letterman." Tickets are $25 with the minimum purchase of two food or drink items.

Saturday

Learn, Explore and Play at Lincoln Park Zoo, 2001 N. Clark St., 9:30-10:30 a.m.

The zoo has created an immersive playground for your young one to connect with nature through playtime. The sensory-rich play place is immersive for young ones and adults by allowing children to meet the animals, draw, build and make music on your own schedule. The 9-week session on Thursdays and Saturdays is $126, $108 for zoo members. The class is for children ages 2-3 accompanied by an adult.

Vance Joy at Lincoln Hall, 2424 N. Lincoln Ave., 9 p.m.

The 26-year-old Australian singer-songwriter inked a five-album deal in 2013. He'll perform hits from his first two albums along with Jaymes Young Saturday. Tickets to the 21-and-over show are $23.

Sunday

An Evening with Sun Kil Moon at Park West, 322 W. Armitage Ave., 7:30 p.m.

Enjoy an evening with Sun Kil Moon, an American folk rock band from California. Tickets to the 18-and-over show are $25.
