NORWOOD PARK — Students at Taft High School will go back to the future for their fall musical, Grease.
Students will bring the world of the rough-around-the-edges Pink Ladies and Thunderbirds to life during performances set for 7 p.m. Nov. 19-22 and 2 p.m. Nov 23 in the Taft Auditorium, 6530 W. Bryn Mawr Ave.
The play was co-written by Taft alum Jim Jacobs, and portrays working class America through the lives of high school students in the 1950s.
Broadway's 15th longest running show, Grease was transformed into a hit film, musical revivals in 1994 and 2007 as well as dozens of local productions.
The production is part of the celebration of the Norwood Park school's 75th anniversary.
Tickets, which are available online, are $8 for adults and $5 for students.
