CHICAGO — A 20-year-old man was shot Monday evening in Austin, police said.

At 6:01 p.m., the man was walking down the street in the 1800 block of North Mayfield Avenue when a man hopped out of a grey sedan and started shooting at him, said Officer Jose Estrada, a Chicago Police spokesman.

The man was struck in both legs and his right arm. He was taken to Loyola Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition, Estrada said.

No one is in custody for the shooting, which appears to be gang-related, Estrada said.
