CHICAGO — A 46-year-old woman was hospitalized after being shot while sitting in a car in Gresham Sunday night.
Around 7:10 p.m., the woman was in a car in the 1800 block of West 88th Street when someone in another car opened fire, said Officer Janel Sedevic, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.
The woman was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in stable condition after being shot in her shoulder, Sedevic said.
No one is in custody for the shooting, Sedevic said.
