Englewood Man Fatally Shot Man in Neck After Argument: Police

CHICAGO— An Englewood man has been charged with murder after allegedly shooting another man in August, police said.

James Ivory, 31, of the 6700 block of South Parnell Avenue, is charged with murder in the death of 32-year-old Arthur Shanklin.

Police said Ivory and Shanklin got in an argument early on the morning of Aug. 26 in the 6700 block of South Parnell Avenue. Ivory shot Shanklin in the chest and neck, mortally wounding him.

Ivory is due in court Saturday.
