Friday

Warren Miller's "No Turning Back" at Park West, 322 W. Armitage Avenue, 9:30 p.m.

Head to Park West for Warren Miller's 65th movie "No Turning Back." The film jumps from Mt. Olympus to the Swiss Alps, taking you where you've never seen skiing or snowboarding. Tickets are $21 for the all-ages show. Doors open at 9 p.m.

Saturday

Baby Loves Disco at Lincoln Hall, 2424 N. Lincoln Ave., 1:30 p.m.

Here's your chance to sip cocktails and watch your little one use the moves you taught him at a live disco featuring classic tunes from the 70's and 80's mixed by real DJs. Single tickets are $15. A family pack of four tickets is $55. Non-walkers are free to get in.

Documenting Daily Drama Workshop at Facets Cinematheque, 1517 W. Fullerton Ave., 10 a.m.-4 p.m.

Join Director Andre Horman and Cinematographer Thoman Bergmann for a day-long workshop on the basics skills of documentary filmmaking. The workshop is for children ages 12-15 and limited to 15 children. The workshop is $35 for Facets members and $40 for non-members.

Phil Palasoul at Zanies, 1548 N. Wells St, 7,9 and 11:15 p.m.

Phil Palasoul has made a living in comedy for nearly 20 years performing all over the United States, in Hong Kong and recently in Afghanistan with Comics on Duty. Tickets to the show are $25 with the purchase of two food or drink items.

Sunday

Richard Marx at Park West, 322 W. Armitage Avenue, 7:30 p.m.

Pop/rock singer Richard Marx has sold more than 30 million records in his three-decade musical career. Tickets to the 18-and-older show are $35.

Documentaries for Young Audiences Discussion at Facets Cinematheque, 1517 W. Fullerton Ave., 3-5 p.m.

Join a peer-to-peer panel discussion about production, distribution and reception of the Young Adult Documentary Genre. The discussion is for anyone 15 or older and is limited to 60 people. The event is free for Chicago International Children's Film Festival accredited guests and Facets members, or $10 for non-members.
