Man Dead, Another Wounded in Englewood Drive-by

CHICAGO — A 18-year-old man was wounded and another 18-year-old man was fatally shot during a drive-by in Englewood Thursday night.

The two men were in the 1700 block of West 72nd Street around 7:35 p.m. when someone in a maroon minivan fired shots, said Officer Bari Lemmon, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.

The 18-year-old man was shot in his wrist and taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in stable condition, Lemmon said.

Stanley Bobo, 19, of the same block was pronounced dead at 9:23 p.m. at Christ from a gunshot wound to his abdomen, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.

No one is in custody for the shooting.
