Near North Shooting Wounds Man

CHICAGO — A 25-year-old man was shot in his leg early Tuesday morning in Near North.

The man told police the shooting happened around 4:10 a.m. while he was in the 100 block of East Ohio Street, said Officer Janel Sedevic, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.

The man drove himself to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition. The wound appeared to be self-inflicted, Sedevic said.

No one is in custody for the shooting.
