Vogue Knitting magazine's third annual "Vogue Knitting LIVE" festival will descend on the Palmer House Hilton Friday through Sunday for a three-day event of yarn and needle sales, knit fashion showcases and workshops for all skill levels.
Intended to connect knitting and crocheting enthusiasts and showcase superlative work, events at the expo include a scavenger hunt for mini-knit pumpkins, classes including a woven toy workshop and "Yoga for Knitters" seminar, yarn giveaways and a complimentary massage lounge for sore hands and shoulders to get some relief.
Tickets can be purchased online or at the door, and cost $20 for one-day passes or $25 for a Saturday and Sunday pass. Friday admission is included with purchase of a one- or two-day ticket, and kids under 12 are free.
