CANARYVILLE — Members of the open-to-anyone Canaryville Book Club for adults will gather to discuss Michael Chabon's "The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay."

The free discussion takes place 6:30-7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Canaryville branch of the Chicago Public Library, 642 W. 43rd St.

Chabon's widely acclaimed 2000 novel, winner of the 2001 Pulitzer Prize for fiction, has been selected as the book for the "One Book, One Chicago" program, which aims to foster of sense of community through reading.
