LINCOLN PARK — The Tie Bar is bringing its vast selection of neckties, skinny ties, bow ties and pocket squares to a pop-up shop in Lincoln Park.

The online tie specialist is set to open a pop-up location at 918 W. Armitage Ave. Friday, the first of its kind for the company.

The Tie Bar is transforming 3,200-square-feet of the former Thread Lounge into a pop-up shop for two months for the holiday season.

Most of the company's vast array of neckties, bow ties, tie bars, pocket squares and socks start at $15 and are inspired by travel, art, architecture, textiles, history and pop culture.

"Our pop-up gives shoppers the chance to touch and feel our products," said Michael Alter, CEO of The Tie Bar.

The company's products are regularly featured in GQ magazine and are a favorite of many athletes.

The pop-up will also host a number of parties, events and promotions throughout the holiday season.
