CHICAGO — A loft-like farmhouse with a modern feel is on the market in Lincoln Park for $595,000.

While the farmhouse at 2734 N. Marshfield Ave. was built in the 1870s, it has been "completely converted into a truly unique single-family home," according to @properties' Emily Sachs Wong.

In addition to two bedrooms and two bathrooms, the home has sunny living and dining areas and a "sleek" kitchen outfitted with top-of-the-line Bosch and Sub-Zero appliances, according to Sachs Wong.

The kitchen is attached to the great room, which boasts extra-wide, floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking a 50-foot backyard and deck.

The farmhouse, which Sachs Wong calls a "spectacular condo alternative," also has a two-car garage.

The neighborhood schools are Prescott Elementary School and Lincoln Park High School.
