CHICAGO — Chicago police are working with Chicago Public Schools officials after a South Side elementary school was burglarized Monday night.
Several men were seen entering Nicholson STEM Elementary School, 6006 S. Peoria St. around 12:30 a.m. Minutes later they left the building with the stolen items, said Officer Ana Pacheco, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.
According to the Tribune, more than $100,000 worth of computer equipment was stolen from the school, including about 300 iPads.
