CHICAGO — A West Town bank was robbed Saturday, the FBI said.
At about 10:45 a.m., a man entered the North Community Bank branch at 1600 West Chicago Avenue and yelled demands.
He put his "hand in [his] sleeve to imply a weapon," said Special Agent Joan Hyde of the FBI. The man did not display a weapon and no injuries were reported. He fled with an undetermined amount of cash, police said.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic man. Police said he wore a dark hooded sweatshirt and gray pants, and covered his face.
