CHICAGO — A 17-year-old boy was wounded in an Uptown shooting Wednesday night, police said.

Around 9:10 p.m., the teen was with a group in the 4600 block of North Sheridan Road when a man in a black hoodie and camouflage pants approached and opened fire, said Officer Janel Sedevic, a Chicago Police Department spokeswoman.

The teen was taken to Thorek Hospital, where he was listed in good condition with a gunshot wound to his arm.

No one is in custody for the shooting, which appears to be gang-related, Sedevic said.
