ROGERS PARK — Neighbors are noticing a few more "Road Closed" signs in Rogers Park, but it's not because of construction. 

In fact, the Chicago Police Department — whose officers have been accompanying some of the closure signs — isn't commenting on why the signs are popping up. 

On today's DNAinfo Radio Extra, Ben Woodard says that it could be part of a larger police effort to stymie crime in the neighborhood:
