ROGERS PARK — For a second year, dozens of businesses surrounding the neighborhood's "L" stations will open their doors to Rogers Park artists and residents during Sunday's Art Round Trip event.

Participants are encouraged to bike, walk and ride from 12-5 p.m. between Loyola, Morse, Jarvis and Howard Stations. The stations themselves will feature work from artists as will the surrounding businesses.

Near the Loyola station, on Loyola Avenue, three art galleries will host a block party, featuring shows, artisan vendors, poetry, music, barbecue, a bake sale, games and more.

At Morse station, Bullhead Cantina and Rogers Park Social will feature artists' work. The Glenwood Dance Studio will host a hip-hop dance class at noon.

Jarvis Square will be filled with outdoor music, dance, poetry, and art in R Public House, Poitin Stil and Towbar. There will be jewelry and ceramics as well as a sculpture garden and an afternoon finger-puppet workshop.

At Howard, join the wheel gymnasts at Willye B. White Park for a special demonstration. Sol Cafe will present art from local schools and artists.

The Greenleaf Arts Center, at 1806 W. Greenleaf Ave., will also have its gallery open to the public during the event.

Art Round Trip is organized by the Rogers Park Business Alliance and is part of Chicago Artists Month.
