LOGAN SQUARE — Join the Logan Square Dog Park Committee Saturday to help clean up the upcoming dog park site.

Bring brooms, rakes, shovels, garbage bags, cleaning utensils and your dog to Logan Boulevard at Artesian and Western avenues at 9 a.m. Saturday.

The Logan Square Dog Park moved one step closer to construction after a building permit was issued for the site in September. A city permit was issued Sept. 11 laying the groundwork to “build a new structure from the ground up” at an estimated cost of $50,000.

A rain date for the cleanup will be held Sunday at 9 a.m.
