Englewood Shooting Wounds Man Thursday Morning

CHICAGO — An 18-year-old man was shot in Englewood Thursday morning.

Around 8:42 a.m., the 18-year-old man was in the 6800 block of South Green Street when he was approached by three men who fired several shots at him, said Officer Ana Pacheco, a Chicago police spokeswoman.

The man was hit several times in his stomach, arm and leg. He was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center, where he's listed in serious condition, Pacheco said.

No one is in custody for the shooting.
