HUMBOLDT PARK — The Midnight Circus will hit Humboldt Park this weekend featuring an eclectic ensemble of acrobats, aerialists, eccentrics and one rescued dog.

Midnight Circus in the Parks will be held this Saturday and Sunday with two performances each day. The event will be staged this year at Smith Park, 2526 W. Grand Ave., due to construction at its traditional location at Commercial Park, a few blocks away.

Proceeds from the weekend shows will benefit Smith Park and Commercial Park. Midnight Circus in the Parks is a community building and fund-raising event that tours all over Chicago each year.

To date the program has raised over $600,000 for local park improvements, according to organizers.

Tickets for the Sept. 27 and Sept. 28 showings can be purchased here at $15 for children and $20 for adults.
