WICKER PARK —  USA's comedy series "Sirens" returned to Wicker Park to film this week.

Early Wednesday, crews filmed a scene from what will become episode three of the show's second season inside an apartment at 1903 W. Evergreen Ave. in Wicker Park.

Actor Kevin Mosley, who plays an ambulance driver in the show, was standing in front of the apartment building enjoying an apple as a small cluster of commuters en route to work and about a half dozen extras stood outside the 1880s-era building.

Mosley, Kevin Daniels, Jessica McNamee and Kevin Bigley star in the series, along with Jean Smart of "Designing Women" and "24" fame.

Dan Goldrosen, a Ukrainian Village resident, was one of several extras standing on the street, awaiting his next assignment.

Goldrosen said he could be working on Wednesday "for four hours, 12 hours or even more."

"As long as they need you," Goldrosen said of his gig.

In previous "Siren" episodes, Goldrosen said he played a cop and a 911 dispatcher.

The show, a comedy about three self-destructive paramedics in Chicago, was picked up for a second season in June and will be filming 13 episodes in Chicago, according to sources.

On Tuesday, the show filmed in Hyde Park across from President Barack Obama's home.

To accommodate the filming, parking restrictions for Evergreen, Schiller and Damen are scheduled for 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday.
