Slurp Oysters and Drink Three Floyds During Galway Arms Fest Saturday

LINCOLN PARK — Galway Arms' annual oyster fest has a special surprise guest this year.

Not only will the Irish pub be serving up oysters and other seafood, but the hallowed Three Floyds Brewing Co. will be taking over the taps.

The yearly oyster festival is set for Saturday to coincide with the 60th annual Galway International Oyster and Seafood Festival happening this weekend across the pond in Ireland.

Old Lazarus' Harp, a folk music collective, will provide the music starting at 8 p.m.

The festival runs from 4 p.m. to midnight at 2442 N. Clark Street.

A special seafood menu for the festival:

  • Connemara Chowder - clams, crab, lobster, shrimp and salmon mixed in a cream sauce with thick cut potatoes. Cup ($4.95) or Bowl ($8.95)
  • Octopus Salad - $7.95
  • Shrimp Cocktail - $7.95
  • Crab Sandwich - $10.95
  • Fresh Raw Oysters - 6 oysters for $8.95 of 12 for $14.95
  • Oysters Rockefeller - 6 oysters for $9.95 or 12 for $16.95

The Three Floyds beers on tap include:

  • Arctic Panzer Wolf - A Double IPA
  • Gumballhead - American Wheat
  • Man-O-Awe - Pale Ale
  • Moloko - Milk Stout
  • Zombie Dust - Pale Ale
