CHICAGO — Two men were hospitalized and two teens were in critical condition including a 16-year-old boy wounded in Hermosa Tuesday night.

The 16-year-old was shot while sitting on a porch with a group of women in the 2200 block of North Kilbourn Avenue, said Officer Jose Estrada, a Chicago police spokesman. The teen was taken to Illinois Masonic Medical Center in critical condition after being shot multiple times. The gang-related shooting occurred around 9:10 p.m. Tuesday, Estrada said.

Around 10 p.m., a 24-year-old man was standing in the 6000 block of West Fullerton Avenue in Belmont Cragin when two men on foot and opened fire, hitting the man in the left foot. The man ran to the intersection of Austin and Fullerton Avenue, where a blue Jeep drove past and someone inside opened fire again, this time striking a 23-year-old man in his right foot, Estrada said.

The 24-year-old man refused medical attention and the 23-year-old man was taken to Loyola Hospital in stable condition. Both men have similar gang ties, Estrada said.

Around 7:45 p.m., a 15-year-old boy was found lying unresponsive on the ground with a gunshot wound in his chest in the 200 block of North Karlov Avenue in West Garfield Park. He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was listed in critical condition, Estrada said.

The teen was unable to tell police what happened. No one is in custody for the shooting, Estrada said.
