NORWOOD PARK — The Norwood Park Fall Fest promises food, beer, music and family friendly entertainment Saturday and Sunday.
A beer garden and music stage will transform Centennial Park at 6088 N. Northwest Highway for the third-annual festival sponsored by the Norwood Park Chamber of Commerce, which expanded this year to two days.
The festival will also be packed full of activities for kids, including crafts, bounce houses, a reptile show, a balloon artist, magic shows, face painting and a bubble demonstration.
One Way Street will headline the festival Saturday, while Rock City 7 will close out the fest Sunday. Sixteen bands are scheduled to play the fest, including Inbound Kennedy and Taft High School student Sami Lin.
Food from Ada’s European Market, Smiling Dawgs and Caponie’s and food trucks will be available for purchase.
The fest will take place from noon to 10 p.m. Saturday and from 1-8 p.m. Sunday.
