SOUTH LOOP — Shutterbugs, assemble: South Loop Neighbors is collecting snaps on the theme of "Life in the South Loop" for a juried photo competition with cash prizes.

Registration is now open for photo submissions in the three categories of student, amateur and professional work.

Submissions are due by Oct. 7 either through the online submission form or at the drop-off site at The Transportation Building, 600 S. Dearborn St., Unit 516, between Oct. 1 and 7.

Photos will be displayed at The Shops at Roosevelt Collection Oct. 15-31. On opening day a panel of professional photographers and artists will choose the top three images. The grand prize in each category is $250, second prize is $150 and third prize is $100.
