CHICAGO — Closures are scheduled on the Kennedy Expy. this weekend as part of the ongoing Ohio Street bridge project, the Illinois Department of Transportation said.

The expressway's reversible lanes will be closed to make way for work crews from 11 p.m. Friday, Sept. 12, through 5 a.m. Monday, Sept. 15.

State officials say drivers should expect delays and allow extra time for travel through the area. Drivers should stay alert and pay attention to flaggers and signs in work zones, officials said.
