ENGLEWOOD — A free, "Coffee and Community Conversation" event begins at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Sherman Park Library branch, 5440 S. Racine Ave.

Patrons will be provided with coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and doughnuts while participating in an open discussion about Englewood.

The library branch, which also serves New City, Gage Park and the Chicago Lawn neighborhoods, was built in 1937 and is named after John B. Sherman, founder of the Chicago Stock Yards.
