SOUTH LOOP — Grammy-nominated pianist and composer Vijay Iyer will perform two solo shows at PianoForte Studios in the South Loop at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. on Friday.
Earlier this year, Iyer was permanently appointed the Franklin D. and Florence Rosenblatt Professor of the Arts in Harvard University's music department. He also released his 18th album this year, "Mutations."
Tickets are $40 per person for both shows at the South Loop venue, 1335 S. Michigan Ave. Tickets are available online or by calling 312-291-0291.
