CHICAGO — Authorities are investigating a Saturday bank robbery in Andersonville.
The Fifth Third bank branch at 5501 N. Ashland Ave. was robbed about 11:35 a.m. Saturday.
Authorities say a white man in his 40s about 6-feet tall, wearing glasses and a gray ballcap entered the bank, then fled with an unknown amount of money.
Police were unsure how the man executed the robbery or if a weapon was shown.
No one was injured.
The FBI said the robber is the same man responsible for an Aug. 5 robbery of a Lakeview bank.
