LAKEVIEW — Popular doughnut shop Glazed & Infused will sell hard-cider doughnuts at Sheffield's Tuesday night as the bar hosts a pin-up model contest.
The event is sponsored by Original Sin, a New York-based hard-cider company that recently launched a nationwide pin-up poster-model contest. Five winners will be featured in illustrated posters, like this one:
The contest makes its way to Chicago Tuesday night, with a stop at Sheffield's Beer and Wine Garden, 3258 N. Sheffield Ave. More than 25 local women will compete.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m., and the contest starts at 8:30 p.m.
To celebrate, Glazed & Infused will sell two limited-edition doughnuts made with Original Sin cider. The first is a vanilla-bean doughnut infused with elderberry hard cider; the second is apple-cider-flavored with a cherry-tree hard-cider infusion.
Doughnut sales start at 6:30 p.m., while supplies last.
