CHICAGO — Blue Line riders in Logan Square and Wicker Park will have to endure just one more weekend of closures for construction of the CTA's "Your New Blue" project, CTA officials announced.

Train service between the Damen and Logan Square stations will be suspended from 10 p.m. Friday through 4 a.m. Monday, August 25.

CTA will provide around-the-clock free shuttle buses from each station during closures, and riders will get free transfers to resume their trips. Shuttles will run from the Logan Square station to the Clark/Lake station, making stops at each station along the way.

Riders are encouraged to allow extra time for trips.

Work also includes some street closures. Portions of Western Avenue will be closed from 10 p.m. through 10 a.m. on Friday and Saturday and from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m. on Sunday. Portions of Prindiville, Moffat and Homer streets will also see closures. All streets will reopen by 4 a.m. Monday.
