EDGEWATER — The sixth annual Taste of Bryn Mawr features the "best specialties" from nearly a dozen restaurants, organizer Tina Travlos Nihlean said.

The event is from 5-9 p.m. Thursday. Tickets cost $25 for an adult and $12 for a child. Online ticket sales end at noon Thursday, then will be available at Bridgeview Bank after 5 p.m. Thursday.

"There's a ton of food," said Travlos Nihlean, board president at the Edgewater Development Corporation, which is hosting the event.

The following restaurants are participating: Little Vietnam, That Little Mexican Cafe, Francesca's Bryn Mawr, Nookies Edgewater, Apart Pizza, Hellas Gyros, Edgewater Food Wine & Spirits, Little India Restaurant, Starbucks, Lovely, Too: A Bake Shop and Pasteur.

Travlos Nihlean, board president at the Edgewater Development Corporation, said the Taste of Bryn Mawr would also offer "wonderful entertainment."

From 6-8:30 p.m., trumpet player Victor Garcia will perform at That Little Mexican Cafe. At 7 p.m., performers will exhibit a Lion dance at Little Vietnam.

Attendees must check in at Bridgeview Bank, 1058 W. Bryn Mawr Ave., to pick up a pass to present at each location.
