CHICAGO — A 27-year-old man was fatally shot Monday night in North Lawndale.
Police were called to the 800 block of South Central Park Avenue around 11:35 p.m. Monday and found the man in the street with gunshot wounds to the chest, said Officer Ron Gaines, a Chicago Police spokesman.
The man was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, Gaines said.
No one is in custody for the shooting.
