CHICAGO — Police arrested a man Monday after he allegedly robbed a Lakeview bank.
The man, dressed in gray suit and fedora, walked into the North Community Bank at 741 W. Diversey Pkwy. about 11:10 Monday morning and handed a note to the teller demanding cash, authorities said.
The teller complied, and the robber fled on foot with an undetermined amount of money, police said.
Chicago police officers caught up with the man shortly after, however, and arrested him. Charges are pending, said Officer Jose Estrada, a police spokesman.
No more information was available.
Earlier this month, another Lakeview bank was robbed, a block away from the bank hit Monday. That suspect is still at large.
