LAKEVIEW — Pastoral is turning 10 this weekend and celebrating the only way it knows how — with a cheese-happy birthday bash.
The European-style cheese, food and wine shop opened near Broadway and Wellington in 2004. Since then, it's added Loop and French Market locations, plus a Lakeview bistro called Bar Pastoral.
In honor of the decade milestone, Pastoral is hosting a party from 1-4 p.m. Sunday. There'll be live music, prizes, blue cheese popcorn, a bubbly toast, cheesecake, cheese plates and a cash bar.
If you can't make it to the party, Pastoral, 2945-2947 N. Broadway, is offering $10 specials all month. Items change weekly.
