Will Durst at Zanies, 1548 North Wells Street, 8:30 p.m.

Will Durst's eight appearances on C-SPAN helps him lay claim to the title of the network's favorite comedian. He's been nominated for five Emmy awards and seven consecutive Stand Up of the Year awards for the American Comedy Awards. Tickets to the 21-and-over show are $25 with the purchase of two food or beverage items.

Green City Market, 1750 N. Clark St., 7 a.m.-1 p.m.

Check out the 10 new vendors at the outdoor market with more than 60 vendors. Wednesday's chef demonstration features Andrew Hroza of Goose Island from 10:30-11:30 a.m. The market will be open from 7 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesdays and Saturdays through Oct. 25.

Locally Sourced at Lincoln Park Zoo, 201 N. Clark St., 5:30-7:30 p.m.

Head to Cafe Brauer for live music by Jugo De Mango, locally farmed produce, drink specials on locally brewed beers from Lagunitas Brewing Company and work from local artists Weener Ware, Daisy Bags and Red-Belly.
