Golf Fundraiser Will Benefit Scholarships at Chicago State University

PULLMAN — Chicago State University Foundation is hosting an annual golf outing hoping to raise $20,000 for athletic scholarships at the South Side university.

The 2014 Chicago State University Golf Outing starts at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Harborside International Golf Center, 11001 S. Doty Ave. Registration for the event begins at 12:30 p.m. Tickets can be bought online for $125 or by calling 773-995-3768. The cost includes greens fees, cart, lunch ticket and a post-round reception with dinner, cash bar and door prizes.

Thomas Wogan, a spokesman for Chicago State University, said all proceeds from the event would go toward scholarships. The university's president, Wayne Watson, will be on hand to greet participants.
