CHICAGO — A 23-year-old man was shot in Humboldt Park Wednesday morning, police said.

Police discovered the man shot in his leg around 8:45 a.m. Wednesday in the 4100 block of West Crystal Street. He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in stable condition, said Officer Ana Pacheco, a Chicago police spokeswoman.

No one is in custody for the shooting and the man is a documented gang member, Pacheco said.
