LINCOLN PARK — The stars of NBC's hit drama "Chicago Fire" were in Lincoln Park filming inside Tarantino's restaurant.
A number of the main characters of the show were on site for the shoot, which lasted an entire day last week.
The crew was filming a dinner scene with Eamonn Walker, who stars as Battalion Chief Wallace Boden in the show, according to John Tarantino, owner of the restaurant.
Tarantino said the show was filming the first episode for the upcoming season.
"It was a lot of hoopla in the neighborhood, a nice event," he said.
The popular NBC show is filming its third season, and the first episode is set to air Sept. 23.
Last season's finale ended with the cliff-hanger of an explosion in a warehouse with most of the stars inside.

There are rumors that one of the main characters doesn't make it out alive, according to TVGuide.com.
The shoot at Tarantino's wasn't the first time the restaurant, which is celebrating its 20th year in business, has been featured on TV. An episode of "ER" and a number of commercials have been filmed in the restaurant.
