UPTOWN — The Sheridan Park Yard Sale will turn 20 years old on Saturday when it returns to Uptown.

Neighbors in the historic Sheridan Park area will be outside selling what should be the normal yard sale assortment of home items, clothes, jewelry, books, electronics and, as Sheridan Park resident Kathy Cook said in a Facebook post promoting the event, "unused treasures."

The sale, spanning from Clark Street to Broadway between Lawrence and Montrose avenues, begins at 9 a.m. and ends at 3 p.m. The event coincides with the Sunnyside Mall Art Fair, also in Sheridan Park and taking place during the same hours.

The National Weather Service website forecasts a sunny day with a high of 76 degrees and 40 percent chance of rain, with "a slight chance of showers, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1" p.m.

If rain crashes the sale, the event will be held on Sunday, according to organizers.
