BRIDGEPORT — Guests sitting down to the "Hallelujah!! Bridgeport Gospel Brunch” at Polo Cafe will be treated to music by in-house organist and a serious brunch spread by chef Dave Samber.

The cafe's weekly gospel brunch takes place Sundays from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at the restaurant, 3322 S. Morgan St. They'll even give you a hymnal if you feel like singing along.

On the menu are a few of the revered restaurant's morning mainstays — a breakfast burger, the "Mayor’s Steak & Eggs," the creme brulee French toast — along with weekly specials, like the "Three Little Piggies," a hash comprised of ham, bacon and pork sausage served with onions, sweet peppers and potatoes.

Reservations are recommended. For more information, call 773-927-7656.
