CHICAGO — Two armed robbers stole from multiple passengers on an Orange Line train Wednesday afternoon, police said.
The incidents occurred between the Roosevelt and Halsted stations on a Loop-bound train at 4:15 p.m., said Officer Veejay Zala, a police spokesman, and Tammy Chase, a CTA spokeswoman.
The robbers announced they were armed and stole various items from multiple people, Zala said.
The CTA is transferring any video footage it has over to the police department, Chase said.
