CHICAGO — You don't need to like pepperoni to have a shot at winning Do312's Pizzafy a Punk Album contest.

Events site Do312 is offering two VIP tickets to Riot Fest to whoever can "pizzafy" a punk album — that is, somehow Photoshop pizza into an album cover from a punk band. The altered album covers are then uploaded to Do312, where anyone can vote once per day on the best covers until July 31. After that, the person with the most votes will claim the tickets.

Do312 has already received more than 100 entries.

"It's just funny to see the creativity of people doing stuff I would have never thought of," said Jeremy Scheuch, who is organizing the contest. "I'm hoping for quite a few more."

Uploaders have already dropped pizzas into Nirvana's iconic "Nevermind" album cover and pizza boxes into the hands of an astronaut on Brand New's "Deja Entendu." Scheuch couldn't name one favorite, but he said entrants have submitted "some good Nirvana ones" and "some really gross-looking ones."

The odd-sounding contest came about, Scheuch said, because the Do312 staff was "just looking for some fun stuff to do to get people involved."

"At the end, it's very entertaining to us ...," Scheuch said.

The site is also hosting a Dress Like Jeff Bridges contest that gives participants a chance to dress up like the Dude to win tickets to see Jeff Bridges & the Abiders at the Venue at Horseshoe Casino.

Riot Fest is Sept. 12-14 in Humboldt Park.
