EDGEWATER — Reserve your slice of Edgewater sidewalk now.
The Great Chicago Chalk Art Festival kicks off Saturday morning, and organizers are already selling sections of North Broadway sidewalk to anyone with a desire to cover the area with temporary art.
Tickets range from $15 to $30 for sections of sidewalk ranging from 25-100 square feet.
All proceeds will benefit Swift Elementary School, which is developing fine-arts programs.
The festival begins at 9 a.m. Registration will be at the Edgewater Library, 6000 N. Broadway.
