LAKEVIEW — Add Oakdale and Pine Grove to the list of streets being resurfaced in Lakeview.
Construction is slated to start Monday on both streets, according to Ald. Tom Tunney (44th)'s office.
Oakdale will be repaired from Sheridan to Pine Grove, while Pine Grove is being resurfaced from Diversey to Barry.
"This past winter has damaged our streets beyond expectations," Tunney said in an email. The city will focus "on resurfacing streets with the highest volume of potholes and damage."
Other streets to be resurfaced include:
• Grace, from Wayne to Southport
• Broadway, from Hawthorne to Stratford
• Surf, from Broadway to Clark
• Buckingham, from Broadway to Halsted
• Byron, from Greenview to Janssen
• Diversey, from Cambridge to Broadway/Clark.
