Englewood Residents Urged to Attend Upcoming RAGE Meeting

ENGLEWOOD — Improvements at the Excel Academy of Englewood, an alternative high school, as well as updates on the city's Large Lot program and local festivals are among the topics that will be discussed at an upcoming community meeting.

The bimonthly meeting for the Resident Association of Greater Englewood runs from 6:30-8 p.m. July 15 at the Gifts From God Ministry Church, 1818 W. 74th St.

Light refreshments will be served.

Asiaha Butler, president of the association, said the meeting is open to the public, and Englewood residents are encouraged to attend.

"Representatives from the Excel Academy of Englewood will speak at the meeting about their achievements and its open enrollment," Butler said.
