JEFFERSON PARK — Jeff Fest — set for July 25-27 — will offer something for everyone, including music, aerial dance, drum circles, food trucks, craft beer, a photo show, a family picnic area and urban crafters.

Last year, approximately 4,000 people attended the festival at Jefferson Memorial Park, 4822 N. Long Ave.

Rock and pop cover band Shape Shifter will headline the festival's main stage July 25, while Chicago-based alternative pop-rock band The Bad Examples will headline July 26, and rock-country band Brushville will close out the festival July 27.

Ten other bands will fill the park with music during the day and evenings from the main stage, while kid-friendly, zydeco and other musical acts will perform on the arts stage.

Lagunitas Brewery and Portage Park-based Lake Effect Brewing are sponsoring the fest along with Woodchuck Hard Cider.

Old Irving Park-based Aerial Dance Chicago will take to the skies above the park to perform its unique blend of dance, acrobatics and gymnastics.

An art tent supervised by Chicago Kids Create will give young festivalgoers a chance to explore several different art styles — including the Mexican and Polish traditions of paper cutting — while creating their own work.

The second annual PhotoArt Fest II will take place during the festival, with a selection of the contest entries picked by judges exhibited at the fest.

Also for the second year in a row, Linder Avenue along the park will be transformed into an outdoor artisan market by Urban Folk Circuit, the city's year-round, traveling craft market.

Jeff Fest admission is $7, or $5 before 5 p.m. Children 12 and younger will be admitted free.
