Shellac at Lincoln Hall, 2424 N. Lincoln Ave., 8 p.m.

Shellac was formed in 1992 when Bob Weston moved to Chicago and joined drummer Todd Trainer and and guitarist Steve Albini. They played their first show in Chicago in 1992 then began touring the world that year. They'll perform Sunday at Lincoln Hall with Bear Claw. Tickets for the 18-and-over show are $15.

Pistol Pete at Chicago B.L.U.E.S. Bar, 2519 N. Halsted, 9:30 p.m.

For $5, catch the award-winning blues singer as he takes the stage at B.L.U.E.S. Monday night. Doors open at 8.
